Rainscope started in Vancouver as a single video production crew shooting narrative films and commercial work around the city. The cameras, lighting, and grip gear we bought to keep our own sets running turned out to be worth sharing, so we opened the inventory to other local productions as film equipment rentals. Once we had the equipment and the crew depth, corporate clients started asking us to run their events too — and live production took shape to handle switching, audio, and vision on-site.
